About Us

Kristin Joyner is an Operating Partner, Georgia Qualifying Broker, & Relocation Director for Living Down South Realty and is responsible for compliance, coaching, recruitment, and overseeing all brokerage engagements and sales transactions for our firm. Living Down South is blessed to have Kristin on board, applying her high level of competence and business acumen, community outreach, and thought leadership to all aspects of our organization.

Growing up in Athens, Georgia, it’s only fitting that Kristin graduated from the University of Georgia in Athens where she earned her degree in Education and is also life-long Dawg fan. While attending college, Kristin took her real estate salesperson class and managed a large multi-unit apartment complex.  Upon graduation, Kristin realized that a career in real estate was her calling. With 31 years of real estate industry experience, Kristin loves mentoring others through the most expensive purchase they will ever make. “I have always enjoyed helping others and with each transaction, I learn something new.”

In addition to real estate, Kristin has always been open to new and different interests. She is a board-certified health and wellness coach and holds a master’s degree in yoga therapy. ​When not Brokering, Kristin and her husband Raymond who currently live in Northeast, GA on Lake Hartwell can be found boating and relaxing on their dock listening to dock tunes, attending UGA Football games, or catching up with their grown kids Marilynn and Ray.  They have 2 ‘second chance’ mutts, Mini-Man, and Bella, and an adopted prison kitty, Emmy. In her free time,

Laura Williams  is a REALTOR® with Living Down South Realty™ and actively services clients in Northeast Georgia and Western Upstate South Carolina including Hart, Franklin, Banks, and Stephens Counties in Georgia and Anderson and Oconee Counties in South Carolina including all of Lake Hartwell.  Living Down South™ is thrilled to have Laura on board delivering outstanding results for her clients and customers.

Originally growing up in Palm Beach County Florida and now living in Canon, Georgia, Laura’s passion for real estate began while working in mortgage lending when she became passionate about helping people secure the dream of home ownership. Prior to a career in real estate, Laura earned her Associates Degree in Business Administration, and soon after, starting a career in Banking which lasted almost 20 years. Today, Laura is a Director with the Georgia Upstate Lakes Board or REALTORS® and is actively helping her clients buy or sell a Residential, Barn & Land, or Lake Living Lifestyle. Combining her education and knowledge in real estate with her experience in understanding the needs and goals of her clients, Laura is a winning choice for anyone seeking the services of a real estate professional.  Laura is often heard by family, friends, and colleagues saying, “It is what it is and everything will be ok.”

When not helping her clients buy or sell a lifestyle, Laura and her husband Joey can be found taking care of the animals on the family farm and catching up with their two grown sons, Jeremy and Matt. In addition, Laura is wasting no time searching for her next community involvement venture having served as the Past President of the Lavonia Lions Club.  In her free time, Laura and her husband enjoy driving around antiquing and thrift shopping and playing with their Chocolate Lab, Moose, who has taken over her social media pages with daily posts of Moose getting into trouble or helping Laura work.
